Last year Saugatuck Brewing Company got a jumpstart on their 10-year anniversary with the introduction of the Inaugural Barrel Aged Bootleg Bash. The event featured the bottle releases of 8 different barrel aged beers including the highly sought-after Barrel Aged Neapolitan Stout.
For the event, Saugatuck Brewing Company opened up their brewhouse to attendees with drinks stations spread out throughout the facility as well as available in the banquet hall. The event proved popular and this year’s highly anticipated event quickly sold out in mere minutes when tickets went on sale in early March.

This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better with over 9 barrel aged beers. Returning this year will be the Barrel Aged Neapolitan Stout, as well as the Barrel Aged Olde Ale along with new releases getting the barrel aged treatment including the Bonfire Brown and the Big Bertha Barleywine. Brian’s Remorse Stout, Reverent Monk, and Lucky 13 Strong Ale will be available as draft exclusives and additionally this year’s event will serve as the bottle release for the Piquant Penguin Sour Ale in 750ml bottles with a 2 bottle limit per person.

Attendees will receive a commemorative logo’d 5 oz snifter with 10 tasting tokens. Live music will be featured in the banquet hall and limited edition t-shirts will be available for purchase as well. The 2nd Annual Barrel Aged Bootleg Bash will be held on Sunday, April 17th starting at 1:30 p.m. Please keep in mind that this event is SOLD OUT and that there will not be any tickets available at the door. Saugatuck Brewing Company often does additional barrel age releases throughout the year, so keep an eye out for announcements of additional releases scheduled for later in the year. The brewery will also be celebrating their 11th year anniversary in June.
