 art craft beer fest 2015

The 2015 Art & Craft BeerFest will be held on Friday, January 30th from 6pm to 10pm (5pm for VIP) and Saturday, January 31st from 5pm to 10pm (4pm for VIP).The Festival will be kicked off with a ceremonial firkin taping on January 30th at 6pm.
For the last few years Art & Craft BeerFest has been hosted at only one venue, and last year we added a second day to accommodate the larger crowd. This year we're transitioning from one venue to three and will have more art, more beer, and more music. The three venues that will host Art & Craft BeerFest are The Cadillac Room (Inside Riverview Church), a heated tent behind REO Town Pub, and A2 Creative Corridor.

The beauty of this event is that when you purchase one ticket, it gives you access to all three venues. Each venue will have different art, bands, beer, and cider. The art will range from photography to metal sculptures to paintings and there will also be a wide range of music such as country, alternative rock, R&B, and more. The bands playing the festival are Vandalay, Lights and Caves, Showdown, North Country Flyers, Abbey Hoffman, Black Barn Band, Dee Hibbert & Company, Tia Hanna, Mark Warner, Joe Wright, and Tim Heenan.

Much like last year's festival, we’ll be featuring beers from only Right Brain Brewing Company in Traverse City. We'll have 25+ beers from Right Brain Brewing Co. and have several rare beers such as Mangalitsa Pig Porter, Spear Beer, Strawberry Fields, and many more. Don't worry if you don’t like beer, you’re still in luck because this year we brought on Blake's Hard Cider with their 5 mainstay ciders plus 5 taproom-only selections.

With any festival good food is a must and we have some great ones for you with Good Truckin' Food, Good Truckin' Diner and Pita Delight. There will be options for meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike.

In addition, this event is for a great cause with all the proceeds going to benefit Pennies For Power which is one of the main assistance programs offered by Lansing Board of Water Light. It relies on contributions from individuals and businesses in the community and provides a way for people to give back and assist the less fortunate with paying their utility bills.
