Mussels Take Center Stage At Monk Beer Abbey

Monk Beer Abbey may be known for its award-winning waffle sandwiches, elk burgers and duck fat fries but this month, a special menu puts its mussels dishes at the center of attention. For a limited time, four flavor infusions are available and feature Prince Edward Island Mussels.
They are:
  • Fennel & Vermouth with shaved fennel, garlic and sweet vermouth
  • Smoked Salmon and Sweet Corn with shallots, fresh corn and a chive cream reduction
  • Tarragon, Tomato and Trumpet with white wine, fresh tarragon, tomato sauce and trumpet mushrooms
  • Vodka Tomato with house-infused pepper vodka, spicy tomato and reduced cream
  • Indian Curry with garlic, onions, bell peppers and authentic Indian curry sauce
Each dish is $12.95 for a limited time, or a flight of three is available for $13.95
 
These dishes are only available now for a limited time. Monk Beer Abbey is located in Royal Oak at 109 E. Fifth Street.
