Motor City Brew Tours is excited to be working with the American Lung Association for three upcoming charity brewery tours.
The first Charity Walking Brewery Tour takes place April 18th with a tour of breweries in the Royal Oak area. We will start by touring the Royal Oak Brewery. The Royal Oak Brewery opened in 1995 and with it's comfortable atmosphere and hometown feel this is wonderful location to start our event. Next we visit Lockhart’s BBQ, where we will enjoy true southern BBQ at it's finest with a unique Detroit twist. Our third stop is Bastone Brewery where fresh hops and unique Belgian style yeast create delicious flavor and character. We finish the walking tour at Lily's Seafood with perfectly crafted microbrews in a cozy, relaxed, family friendly atmosphere they are a perfect location to enjoy a beer at. Tickets cost $45 and are available here.

The second event is a Charity Bike Tour of the Detroit area July 12th. The theme is Detroit Prohibition history. I went on a different bike tour last year and it was the most fun I have had on my bike. The groups are small and the pace is comfortable enough that you can really enjoy looking at your surroundings. Plus at the end you can celebrate the appeal of prohibition and your bike ride with a nice cold pint. Tickets cost $40 and are available here.

The third event involves enjoying a Charity Motor Coach Tour to a few local breweries on August 1. No walking or bikes on this tour. Get on one of Motor City Brew Tours comfortable motor coach buses where you are driven to beer. The first stop is Fenton Winery & Brewery where you can enjoy an excellent brew in their taproom and then wander the outdoor gardens and find a calming place to relax and enjoy your pint. Next stop is Redwood Brewing Co., they have been brewing award winning beer since 1996. They only brew with the finest all natural ingredients to create unique beer and you will defiantly taste that in the beer you sample. Our third stop will be Northern Oak Brewery in Holly. Please note that an alternate brewery will be added to the route in lieu of Northern Oak if not opened in time. Tickets cost $65 and are available here.

Whether you want to walk, bike or ride the motor coach, Motor City Brew Tours creates a fabulous experience for each and every person and event. For every ticket sold Motor City Brew Tours is giving back $10 to the American Lung Association. So grab your friends and pick your favorite event or go to all three and support a great cause.
