The fourth annual Lansing Beer Week will take place from June 19th to June 27th, 2015. This weeklong celebration will feature Michigan craft beer themed events throughout the greater Lansing area. The goal of Lansing Beer Week is to raise awareness of the craft beer industry while promoting patronage to local establishments and stimulating the greater Lansing area’s retail economy and Michigan made products.
Local breweries and beer centric bars will be offering craft beer themed events ranging from beer dinners to tap takeovers to special giveaways.
Participating establishments include Zoobies Tavern, REO Town Pub, Midtown Beer Company, Taps 25, Nuthouse Sports Grill, Lansing Lugnuts, Beer GrottoHopCat - East Lansing, Eagle Monk Brewery & Pub, Vine and Brew, Sleepwalker Spirits and Ale, Harpers Restaurant and Brewup, Front 43 Neighborhood Pub and Meat Southern BBQ Carnivore Cuisine.

Lansing Beer Week concludes with Lansing Beer Fest in the REO Town district of Lansing on Saturday June 27th. The third annual Lansing Beer Fest is an utdoor beer festival occurring on Washington Avenue between South and Elm streets. The beer festival will feature 30 Michigan Breweries and nearly 100+ craft beers and hard ciders.

Just like last year, you can enjoy live music from inside the tent located in the middle of the street or listen as you enjoy a Michigan beer while walking around the festival. The headlining act this year is The Orbitsuns, the Motor City’s finest purveyors of low down and dirty outlaw country. In addition to The Orbitsuns, the supporting acts will be North of Memphis and Joe Wright.

In addition to the great beer selection we will offer cider, mead and spirits. As for the food, this year there will be a Food Truck Court with 8 food trucks providing a variety of options from BBQ to vegetarian.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the REO Town Commercial Association. Last year we were able to donate $1,250 to them for future projects and improvements.
