Woldumar Nature Association was formed in the mid-1960's as a conservation education program for young people. Mrs. Glads Olds Anderson (daughter of automotive pioneer Ransom Eli Olds) donated half of her dairy farm to create this amazing preserve on the outskirts of Lansing. The center has a beautiful log cabin 'Moon Log Cabin' that was donated and moved to the property in the early 1980's, this is where their cultural heritage programs are held. Every year they operate Camp Discovery which serves over 600 children each summer. They also do educational tours for roughly 25,000 people both young and old each year. With over 5 miles of trails on 178 acres of pristine woodland, prairie, river-side and pine forest this is a beautiful location for a wine and beer festival.
Tickets to Petals & Vines are $30 (includes 12 drink tickets). More information available at http://www.woldumar.org/events.php
