“The House is dedicated to the community, so we’re excited to have partners for this event in our neighborhood, like Blue Cross Complete, Allen Neighborhood Market with El Burrito Mexicano and local breweries such as Arcadia Ales, which will be our new neighbor on Michigan Avenue later this summer,” says Carolyn Hurst, executive director of the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan. “Uncle John’s Fruit House Cidery & Winery is in Clinton County and Mountain Town Brewing is in Isabella County, both counties within our guest family referral areas.”
The Red Shoe Brew will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Attendees must be 21 years or older. Tickets are $30 each and include six brew tasting tickets and one entree food ticket. Each tasting ticket is for a 3-ounce pour. Additional beer tasting and food tickets will be sold at the door for $2 each. Designated driver tickets are also available for $15 each, which includes three soft drink tickets and one entree food ticket.
Registration is now open for the Red Shoe Brew. To register or for further details, visit rmhmm.org/events/red-shoe-brew/.
The Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan serves families from around the state and beyond who have a child in one of the local hospitals or clinics. It has served thousands of families by providing them a warm and caring home-away-from-home where they can have home-cooked meals, a place for siblings to play and a comfortable space to sleep close to the hospital room where they spend countless hours with an ill child.
