Get Out And Enjoy The Spring Weather At These Upcoming Spring Festivals

Michigan weather is starting to get nicer and everyone is ready to get outside and enjoy the spring sunshine and outdoor festivals. Here are a few of the Spring Festivals that I am looking forward to attending.

  • Saturday April 25th, 2015 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm (2PM VIP)

Beerfest at the Ballpark is an outdoor beer, cider and mead festival with live music hosted in the heart of Downtown Lansing at the Cooley Law School Stadium home of the Lugnuts at 505 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. Beerfest at the Ballpark will have 50 Michigan Breweries and Cideries that will be showcasing 200+ beers and ciders. The entertainment will be Brian Lorente and the Usual Suspects, Bittercreek and Joe Wright. The proceeds from this event will benefit the Old News Boys.

Michigan's Spring Beer Festival

Beer City Festivals is at it again, and wont be out done. From hobnobbing with the brewers to sharing a bite with the greatest beer fans on the planet. Immerse yourself in the most famous beers on the continent, or take your own path, and try the special offerings from the brewers that call West Michigan home. This tasting event is a fund raiser for TheAmerican Legion Post 179, an organization dedicated to helping local Veterans. The American Legion will be sharing proceeds from this years event with Friends of the Grand Rapids home for Veterans.

Ashely's of Westland created the Michigan Cask Ale Festival a number of years ago to showcase a third kind of beer beyond conventional draft and bottle: cask ale, also known as real ale. This event requires months of planning and working through their strong relationships with brewers and distributors. They travel throughout the state to personally deliver the casks to breweries for them to fill with unique, fresh beer and then put it all together the second Saturday in May.

MIS Wine and Beer Fest

It's the toast of Michigan! On Saturday, May 9, 2015, MIS will play host to wineries and breweries from all over the state. Sip, swirl and savor the great wine and beers the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest has to offer!

10th Annual Michigan Beer & Brat Festival

  • Saturday May 23rd, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm (3PM VIP)

Kick off the summer with this Memorial Day weekend tradition at Crystal Mountain. Enjoy live entertainment from Sweetwater Blues Band and The RockShow Band while sampling over 75 of Michigan's finest microbrews, local hard cider and mead, and gourmet brats from northwest Michigan markets. Held outdoors, slopeside.
