We’re happy to announce that the following 39 Michigan breweries will be participating in the second annual Beerfest at the Ballpark. This festival will feature over 200 beers plus a great cider selection. We have something to please everyone from the beer enthusiast to the craft beer newcomer.


The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson continues to grow as craft beers and hard ciders are added to the ever popular lineup.

The Michigan Cask Ale Festival returns Saturday, May 9, to Ashley’s Beer & Grill, 7525 Wayne Rd.. The Festival is the largest offering of cask-conditioned craft beers at one time anywhere in the state.


There are some events that you look forward to year round. These include days like Christmas, your birthday, and the annual Short’s Brewing Company’s Anniversary Extravaganza. Every year this event is wild, joyous, and overflowing with great beer (classics and new releases!) This year will not be an exception; April 25, 2015 marks the Eleven Year Anniversary Extravaganza and you do not want to miss it.

Hudsonville Fairgrounds will play host to more than 40 of West Michigan’s best, and newest breweries during the 2nd Annual Beer City Springfest, on Saturday, May 2. Gates open at Noon for VIP ticket holders (1pm to the general public), with the festival running until 6pm. This epic day will be filled with Michigan-made libations, as well as food, games and live entertainment.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 28th for the 2nd annual Beer City Spring Fest. This year’s festival will take place on May 2nd at the Hudsonville fairgrounds, and is expected to sell out. Tickets are available online at beercityfestivals.com and are limited to 2500. Last year’s inaugural festival had over 2000 craft beverage fans in attendance, enjoying many of the special brews brought out for the areas first festival of the year.

Tickets are on sale now for the spring Beerfest at the Ballpark, an outdoor beer and cider festival with live acoustic music hosted by the Lansing Lugnuts in partnership with I’m a Beer Hound and presented by Gillespie Group, to be held on Saturday, April 25th, at Cooley Law School Stadium.

­­​West Michigan Beer Tours is proud to announce the Big Lebowski Beer Tour 2 on Saturday, March 28. This five ­hour celebration of Michigan beer (and maybe a White Russian), bowling and the most quotable movie of all ­time will take our Little Lebowski Urban Achievers to a series of stops connected with the film in some fashion.

We’re happy to announce that the following 30 Michigan breweries and 2 cideris will be participating in the second annual Lansing Beer Fest event! This festival will feature over 100+ Michigan beers. Come out and enjoy the Reo Town area we have something to please everyone from the beer enthusiast to the craft beer newcomer.

 A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the REO Town Commercial Association.

“Mashing in Michigan” was the theme of this year’s National Homebrewers conference which took place in downtown Grand Rapids at the DeVos Place on Thursday, June 12th through Saturday June 14th. A welcoming reception and toast on Thursday included two special commemorative beer releases; an Oak Aged Rye IPA from Founders and Beer Michigan Barleywine from Bell’s. Founders own Dave Engbers and Mike Stevens were also on hand as the guest keynote speakers on Friday.
