As part of the Inaugural Grand Rapids Beer Week (presented by Liquid Table and Michigan Brewers Guild), Kent Beverage has announced the “West Michigan Beer Cup Challenge”. Competition between area bars and restaurants to see which Team will be awarded the First Annual West Michigan Beer Cup.
Participating establishments will be assigned to two teams, an IPA and a STOUT team.  This is a team based event and the winner will be determined by the highest average of pints per establishment. Program is designed to create greater awareness of the Winter Beer Festival and promote Michigan Craft Brewery Industry.

Competition began Monday, February 13 and will end on Friday, February 24 at midnight. The winner will be announced Saturday, February 25th at 3pm on stage at the Michigan Brewers Guild Winter Beer Fest at Fifth-Third Ballpark. Only Michigan beer pints will be counted towards cup challenge.  Establishments will report to commissioner on an honor system. Please remember that this is a team event, IPA vs Stout Division with the applicable establishments as team members.
