Recap of Brew Works of Fremont Grand Opening Bash

Brew Works of Fremont held their Grand Opening Bash this past October with food and drink specials, giveaways, and live music. The all day event started inside the pub with a speciality beer tent and entertainment stage setup outside in the beer garden. The garden featured the tapping of the Drunken’ Pumpkin Porter at 8 p.m. and live music including Watching for Foxes and R.J. Nordlund starting around 9 p.m.
The grand opening bash featured a full tap lineup of Brew Works own beers which ranged from an American Wheat, the Shady Lane Witbier, and the Roman’s Roc & Ry Ale to the Branstrom Brown, Reds Beards Irish Red, and the Fitz Irish Stout. Several IPAs were also offered which ranged from the Sittin’ Session IPA to the Fremont IPA and Serious Black IPA, and also a Harvest IPA. Brew Works also offers Michigan wines as well as Cellar hard cider from head brewer Chuck Brown’s own Cellar Brewing in Sparta.

Brew Works of Fremont has a full food menu which utilizes their in house meat grinder and smoker and features starters, salads, sandwiches, burgers and and includes “The Punisher” burger with smoked sausage and features 2 grill cheese sandwiches as a bun. Brew Works current hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and closed on Sundays.
