
Osgood Brewing in Grandville recently celebrated their 1-year anniversary with a party featuring an evening of live music, exclusive beer tappings, and firkins. 16 different beers were on taps for the celebration with the centerpiece being the
1st Anniversary Ale, an Imperial take on the popular Oakestown American Amber Ale. A commemorative growler and special merchandise were also available at the anniversary party.
The firkin releases for the event were
Grapefruit Porter and
Coffee Chipotle Chocolate Stout. Other beers available on tap for the anniversary included a special release of the Shackhuddle '13 - Belgian Pumpkin Ale as well as a new spin-off of the Yippee Ki-yay blonde called Prairie Fire with cucumbers, cilantro, and jalapenos. A triple header of live music for the evening featured local talent and included performances from
Nidal,
Karisa Wilson, and
3 People Absent.
Osgood Brewing has recently expanded hours to include lunch specials throughout the week as well as Sunday hours from 12 to 5 PM. Tuesdays currently feature $1.00 off full pours and Wednesdays are mug club night with $1.00 off pours for mug club members. Mug club benefits also include upgraded 23 oz pours for the standard pint prices, as well as food discounts and previews of new beer tappings. Mug club memberships are $65 a year and are currently up for renewal for existing members with some openings expected to be available in mid-october for new members so keep an eye on Osgood’s Facebook page for an announcement soon:
