Grand Armory Brewing opened earlier this year as downtown Grand Haven’s second brewery following the now well established Odd Side Ales which has been open since 2010. Grand Armory Brewing is located in the historic 110-year old Armory building in which the brewery shares space with Aldea Coffee, Righteous BBQ, and the Armory Art Center. The Grand Opening Street Party was held this past October and featured a pig roast from Righteous BBQ and a live performance from the Grand Rapids-based folk rock band The Crane Wives.
Grand Armory Brewing’s diverse beer lineup originated with small batch recipes made available at the Armory location earlier this year while waiting for the equipment for their off-site production facility to arrive. These recipes have been well received and include lighter offerings such as the Beechtree Blonde to dark offerings which include the Buzzuka Milk Stout. Grand Armory also has no shortage of hoppier offerings which currently include the Red Ryder IPA and Crop Duster Citra IPA. Grand Armory Brewing also offers hand crafted sodas as well as locally produced wine and hard cider.

Grand Haven’s Righteous Cuisine has partnered with Grand Armory to provide food options with an emphasis on BBQ that includes pulled pork, chopped brisket, and chicken as well as house made sausages. Aldea Coffee offers a quality farm-to-cup coffee from Honduras with emphasis on sustainability that supports the families and communities that produce the crop. Grand Armory Brewing is also planning on launching their own mug club very soon. The brewery is currently open Mon-Thu 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m; Fri 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; Sat 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m and Sun 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
