Sparta’s Cellar Brewing Company
has made a big move to 133 E Division Street right in the heart of downtown. The brewery previously resided at 500 E Division Street and the move has been well thought out with plenty of enhancements for Cellar Brewing beyond just the more prominent location including a new bar, brewing equipment, and full kitchen. Add that to Cellar’s already great lineup of beer, wine, cider, and spirits and this equals a true destination brewery to the area.
While Cellar Brewing did have limited food options at the former location, the addition of a full kitchen at the new location and new executive chef Nathan Ingersoll has allowed the brewery to upgrade the food options considerably with a full menu including appetizers, soups, salads, burgers and sandwiches. Dinner options include steaks, fried chicken, and salmon and featured desserts include vanilla bean creme brulee and Sparta apple tart a la mode.
Cellar Brewing’s current beer selection includes 16 taps ranging from their Collaboration Cream Ale to their BBA (Bourbon Barrel Aged ) Russian Imperial Stout. Hoppier options include the Maine Squeeze New England IPA and the flagship Black Magic RYPA. Cellar is open 7 days a week, with current hours as follows:
- Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. - 11 p.m
- Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. - 12 a.m.
- Sunday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
