Vander Mill owner Paul Vander Heide wrote on the city application. "We will be pressing apples, fermenting cider in large stainless steel fermentation tanks and packaging ciders in both bottles and cans.” He also mentioned that “The tap room has been designed in a way that will allow the consumer to view the entire production process via large glass windows.”
With space for on-site parking for both employees and customers this will soon become a jewel of the area. Vander Mill also plans to hire people for food service, production and administrative jobs.
We are excited to see the expansion of Vander Mill Cider and can't wait to see what the rest of 2015 brings to them.
