Coming the summer of 2015, the owners of Ellison Brewery and Spirits are proud to announce the opening of a new micro-brewery and distillery serving the Metro-Lansing area. Production and tasting room will be in East Lansing conveniently located off Grand River Avenue to give customers easy access to world class craft beer and artisan spirits.
Craft beer products will be ran on a custom designed production line to ensure maximum efficiency and easy work flows with estimated annual craft beer production volume up to 5000 barrels. Distillation will be run on a smaller 53 gallon pot/reflux still that will have moderate production levels for tasting room sales and limited distribution. In-house wines will be also be available at the tasting room only. A revolving menu of craft cocktails, meads, braggots and limited release craft beers will be offered as seasonal products.

The Brew House will be run by our highly awarded Brew Master Todd Schwem and Cellar Master Leon Traczynski. Todd and Leon are also co-owners of Ellison Brewery and Spirits and one of the most dynamic duos in the Michigan Craft Beer Industry.

Heading up Operations of Ellison Brewery and Spirits will be co-owner Aaron Hanson who offers his military leadership and engineering expertise to assist Todd and Leon in the Brew House. Sales and Distribution will be the responsibility of co-owner Eric Elliott who brings over a decade of craft beer distribution and hard cider sales experience to Ellison Brewer and Spirits.

This diverse and experienced team of individuals has been and will continue to work hard to give local people a craft brewery and distillery that will put Lansing on the craft beer map.
