“Ann Arbor is full of dog lovers like me. Everywhere you go, you’re likely to see a pup walking down the street,” Baird said. “The community embraced the concept last summer, so we’ve decided to revamp the menu and bring it back for another summer of dog-centric fun.”
The Shandy-approved menu is doggone good, with options like the Pup Patty, a cheeseburger patty on a house bun; the Skinny Dog, a choice of salmon and chicken over rice; the Top Dog, hanger steak slices over potatoes; Grizzly Peak’s Poochy Cream, vanilla ice cream topped with peanut butter sauce and a dog treat and more tasty treats. As an added bonus, doggie diners ordering from Pups on the Patio can get their paws on a complimentary Grizzly Peak dish to take home.
A portion of the proceeds from the Pups on the Patio menu will be donated to the Humane Society of Huron Valley, a local animal shelter where Baird spends her free time volunteering.
The brew-pubs’s canine advocacy doesn’t stop with its unique menu either. In partnership with the Humane Society of Huron Valley, Grizzly Peak is proud to host Hops and Adopt, a multi-event adoption effort introducing patrons to local four-legged friends who are looking for a good home. Grizzly Peak will award complimentary Mug Club memberships to anyone who adopts a pet during the June 10 event.
