Fetch Brewing Company opening soon as Whitehall Destination

The former State Bank Building on Colby St. in downtown City of Whitehall is the new home to the Fetch Brewing Company. The historic location is currently being renovated for the new occupants including a transformation of the original bank vault into a merchandise room to include the likes of t-shirt and mug sales. With plenty of shops and restaurants in the area, as well as year-round activities ranging from sledding and winter sports to the beautiful White Lake nearby, Fetch is sure to be a true destination brewery.
Fetching Brewing Company's BuildingBrewery owners Jen and Dan Hain are the team behind Fetch Brewing; Jen with her background in accounting and finance, and Dan with his lab-based chemistry background sure to give him an edge transitioning from homebrewer to professional grade brewmaster. Dan plans to mix the art of brewing with scientific consistency to achieve an ideal balance. Recipes have been developed for what are destined to be Fetch mainstays including a variety ranging from wheat and blonde ales to IPAs and Stouts. Seasonal releases are also planned which could include additional recipes such as a Feral IPA.

While Fetch Brewing’s longtime plans include providing a food option for their patrons, the first and foremost goal is to get the beer flowing as plenty of local food options are available in take-out and/or delivery options to be enjoyed at the brewery. The brewery plans to open with a 5 barrel system, which should allow Fetch to meet local demands and also provide for some initial distribution to area pubs and restaurants via kegs. Fetch is currently on track with licensing and equipment for an anticipated Winter opening, so be on the lookout for their upcoming mug club which will feature locally designed artisan mugs, contests, and private parties with first dibs on new beers.
