tapistry brewing celebrates 2years article

Tapistry Brewing in Bridgman is getting ready to celebrate their 2-year anniversary with an all day celebration including food specials, live music, and special beer releases in bottle and on draft. The brewery is planning a mug club members-only buffet to start the day at 10 a.m. prior to their regular 11 a.m. opening. I recently paid a recent visit to Tapistry prior to the Anniversary date to check out the latest happenings at the brewery.
Tapistry Brewing has now released two of their mainstay beers in cans. With a little help from Michigan Mobile Canning, their Mr. Orange witbier and dry-hopped Reactor IPA are both available at the pub as well as via limited distribution. Tapistry also continues to feature limited specialty releases in bottles such as the Hoponocci series of single-hopped American pale ales. Also currently available is the Hansel hefeweizen, the first of three releases in the brewery’s annual “German Trilogy” of beers. For the anniversary party, the Heart Full of Napalm IPA featuring mosaic, galaxy, and amarillo hops will be released in 22 oz. bottles

In addition to special bottle releases, specialty beer tappings will include 2 firkins. The brewery also recently opened their new outdoor patio for the summer and has debuted a new summer menu including sandwiches and salads. Bridgman is also expecting to be home to another brewery soon also. The Chicago-based Haymarket Pub & Brewery is in the process of opening a production facility and new pub in Bridgman which will be just another reason to include Bridgman as beer destination this year!
