White Flame Brewing Co. recently celebrated the opening on their new bar area with an all day festival featured bands, food, and special beer releases. In addition to unveiling the new bar area which has room for 16 taps and will also feature wine, the brewery also expanded the celebration out into their parking lot with additional beers available outside and a live music stage setup as well. There was a $5 cover charge to attend the fest with mug club members getting into the event for free.
White Flame brought back on tap their popular Black Flame barrel aged Imperial Maple Stout for the event. Other beers on tap in the new bar area included Gilligans Crush Ginger Pale Ale, Mosaic Dream, and the Big Willy Bourbon Barrel Double IPA. Also available for sale were the Super G IPA in 4-pack cans for $11 (limit of 4 per person) and the new Gold Flame Agave Ale aged in Tequila barrels which sold for $16 per 22 oz. bottle with a limit of 2 bottles per person. White Flame also features their own wines and hard cider on tap.

Food options for the event included the Gettin’ Fresh food truck which has been a staple at White Flame earlier in the summer often setting up in front of White Flame on Sunday mornings and featuring a brunch menu. Their Flame Fest menu included the Cowaburga Dude burger, Boombox veggie burger, as well as Yukon Cornelius skewered sweet corn with lime, mayo, and ancho chili powder. Jesse Cline Music kicked off the fest on the outdoor stage with several bands playing throughout the day and rock trio Native Element closing out the fest.
