The Rochester Mills Beer Co. & Rochester Mills Production Brewery are excited to announce the release of this year’s fall seasonal selection, Oktoberfest Celebration Lager.
Rochester Mills’ Oktoberfest Celebration Lager is a malty, German-style Lager or Märzen with low to moderate hop bitterness featuring a medium body and brilliant amber color. Rich, yet easy drinking and incredibly delicious, this beer style has been made popular by the annual Fall Festival that originated in Munich, Germany and is now celebrated world-wide. Due to its overwhelming popularity, Oktoberfest is consistently Rochester Mills’ best-selling seasonal beer.

Rochester Mills is also proudly showing off a new set of cans this fall. Tailgating and hayrides just got better with the debut of Oktoberfest Celebration Lager in 16 oz., full pint sized cans. This is the first seasonal selection canned for your convenience from the Rochester Mills’ lineup.

“We’ve brewed more Oktoberfest this year than we ever have,” said RMPB Director of Brewing Operations, Eric Briggeman. “700 barrels to be exact, almost three times what we made last year. That may still not be enough, especially since we put it in a can this year and released it to all of our distributors in Michigan and Ohio.”

Oktoberfest will be available to Rochester Mills’ full distribution network through the fall season in 16 oz. cans and on draft in half barrels and tall quarter barrels.

Rochester Mills Beer Co. has been one of the top producing brewpubs in Michigan since it opened in 1998. The brewpub offers a diverse beer menu with eleven different styles of beer consistently available as well as a number of reoccurring seasonal offerings. The Rochester Mills Production Brewery, brewers of Rochester Mills Beer Co. brands for distribution, began as a startup brewery in Auburn Hills, Mich. in 2012, quickly becoming one of the top craft beer producers in the state. Their Lagers and Ales, packaged in 16oz. aluminum cans, are currently featured in grocery stores as well as independent and franchise convenient stores, and specialty beverage merchants statewide. Additionally, their four core brands, which include Milkshake Stout, Lazy Daze Amber Lager, Cornerstone IPA, and Rochester Red Ale, along with rotating seasonal offerings, can be found flowing from more than 750 taps at bars and restaurants across Michigan and North West Ohio.
