jolly pumpkin beer release may 2016

Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery is excited to welcome sour beer fans from across metro Detroit to its Midtown location for the release of limited-edition brew, No Ka `Oi. The new beer was released on Saturday, May 21.
Brewed in honor of Anchorage Brewing Co. founder and longtime Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales supporter Gabe Fletcher’s birthday, No Ka `Oi melds together fresh ingredients to create a delightfully fruity sour beer, perfect for kicking off patio drinking and dining season.

Brewed onsite at Jolly Pumpkin’s headquarters in Dexter, Michigan, No Ka `Oi features a special blend of Michigan hops, raspberry puree and lime peel. The refreshing bitterness and beautiful bouquet of tropical fruits balance nicely with the sweetness of raspberry and citrus flavor in the lime peel.
It’s easy to see that No Ka `Oi lives up to its name, which means “the best” in Hawaiian!

For a limited-time only, No Ka `Oi will be available in 750 ml bottles for $13.99. A bottle purchase limit has not been set, and the brew is expected to run out quickly. Hurry in to Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery to try this one-of-a-kind barrel-aged sour beer before it’s too late!

Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery is located at 441 W. Canfield in Detroit, and is open 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurant and brewery’s patio is now open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
