New Holland Brewing Announces Distribution in Four New Markets
Holland, Michigan-based craft brewery and artisan distiller, New Holland Brewing Co. has announced plans to distribute their products to four new markets across the great plains and into the Rocky Mountains beginning mid-August. Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa will soon be a part of the brewery’s now 24-state territory for beer and 17-state territory for spirits, including Washington D.C. To celebrate, New Holland will be hosting a handful of events in each state in August and September to kick off their launch in Central U.S.

U.P. Craft Beer Week to Celebrate Michigan's Brewing Culture
A Pint Above, Inc. is pleased to announce the third annual U.P. Craft Beer Week. This celebration of Michigan craft beer will take place on September 1st Michigan Brewers Guild's U.P. Fall Beer Fest in Marquette. Over 25 events all across the Upper Peninsula will highlight Michigan brews through tastings, beer pairing dinners, food specials containing Michigan beer, and other special events.

Saison beers remain light and enjoyable while providing sustenance.
Saison was born in the 1700s in the Belgian countryside and finds its roots as quite a few other regional styles of beer do: necessity. The water available in the region wasn't suitable for consumption, and by the miracle of fermentation, the water was made drinkable. The beer also doubled as compensation for farm workers, to the tune of 5 litres per day.
