Knickerbocker Barrel Gin also took home the prestigious Best in Class award in the Gin category, for the second consecutive year.
“It was great to be in Chicago with so many craft distillers we respect,” says New Holland National Spirits Sales Manager, Rich Blair. “We’re thrilled to see our spirits get such tremendous recognition from a peer-based judging and amongst such great company. We’re particularly proud – two years running – to claim the Best in Class award for our Knickerbocker Barrel Gin. It’s an amazing spirit.”
Knickerbocker Barrel Gin first released to market in 2014 and is aged in a mix of new oak barrels and spent New Holland whiskey barrels that provide a deep, smooth contrast to the lively aromatics of the gin. In 2016, it became a year-round release in New Holland’s lineup.
“It’s really amazing to be recognized with these six medals from the ACSA,” says Brett VanderKamp, co-founder and president of New Holland. “Our distilling team is a passionate, creative, talented bunch and this hardware proves it.”
