Recap of The Oberon Release at Pints & Quarts

Oberon is here! On Monday, March 26th, this popular beer from Kalamazoo's Bells Brewery has been rolled out in style once again followed by a series of release parties virtually everywhere. One of many of these parties was held at Muskegon's Pints & Quarts, coinciding with  the Thursday All Night Happy Hour. A Bell's representative was on hand, distributing stickers, sun-glasses, buttons, etc. as well as raffling off everything from T-shirts to beach towels.

Spring Lake's Vander Mill Cidery has something new to offer this year: beer!

Debuted at Winter Beer Fest in February with temperatures in the low 20s; and now, just a few weeks later with West Michigan temperatures aproaching 80 degrees, Vander Mill has already begun expanding hours and making the new beers (as well as hard ciders and apple wines,) available to be enjoyed in their cider garden.

2 Year Anniversary of Grand Haven's Odd Side Ales

This St. Patty's Day marked the 2-Year anniversary of Grand Haven's Odd Side Ales. Located in an old  former piano factory Downtown, the brewery offered $2 mugs and $5 steins all day in celebration. Mug Club memberships have gone on sale anew as well. $50 for a year (or $150 for a lifetime,) provides a custom designable 16 oz. mug with discounts on all pours including growlers.

Founders Tap Takeover at Pints and Quarts in Muskegon

Muskegon has yet to have it's own brewery. This may change later this year as Unruly Brewing company has announced plans to open. In the meantime, the premier drinking establishment of choice for fans of fermented beverage is Pints & Quarts. "P's & Q"s," as it also referred to, features over thirty different taps featuring many Michigan beers including regularly rotating taps from Short's, Odd Side Ales, and recently Greenbush.
