Motor City Brew Tours is excited about the bus tour October 15 and December 3. Owner Stephen Johnson created this tour around his recently published book, “Detroit Beer - A History of Brewing in the Motor City”

The Blues-n-Brews Festival will return to Downtown Adrian on Saturday, October 1, 2016. The annual festival features beer, wine and hard cider from more than 30 Michigan breweries and wineries and live blues music. The event will be at The Pavilion, 115 Toledo St, from 4:00-10:00 P.M. with early entry at 3:00 P.M. for VIP ticket holders.

The 8th annual U.P. Fall Beer Festival is being held this Saturday, September 10 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mattson Lower Harbor Park in downtown Marquette on Lake Superior. This is the first of two fall beer festivals put on by the Michigan Brewer’s Guild, with the Detroit Fall Festival scheduled for Friday, October 21 and Saturday October 22, 2016. The Michigan Brewer’s Guild also puts on the Winter Festival at Comstock Park’s Fifth Third Ball Park north of Grand Rapids, and the Summer Festival in Ypsilanti’s Riverside Park in Depot Town.

Tickets go on sale today, Tuesday, August 23, for the 3rd annual fall Beerfest at the Ballpark, presented by Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom.

This festival will feature over 50 beers plus cider, mead and wine. We have something to please everyone from the beer enthusiast to the craft beer newcomer.

Motor City Brew Tours started the bike season off with a bang in May with their annual Cruisin’ for the Trail bike ride where they had record attendance of 600 people and was able to donate $6,600 to the Friends of the Paint Creek Trail.

 Beerfest on the Bridge - Portland Michigan

This Saturday, August 13th from 3pm to 8pm is Beerfest on the Bridge, presented by the Portland Michigan Main Street Program. The Festival is hosted on Veterans Memorial Bridge in downtown Portland. Built in 1890, the bridge is the oldest known surviving example of a truss bridge in Michigan and it creates an attractive and historic entrance into main street in the 'City of Two Rivers'.

Hopstock is a brand new festival being put on this year by the Beer City Brewer’s Guild and is featuring over 30 Grand Rapids breweries, area food trucks, and local bands. The event is scheduled for Saturday August, 13th at the Calder Plaza in downtown Grand Rapids from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The event will also include beer education sessions presented by Ben Darcie which are scheduled from 6:45 p.m to 7:15 p.m. and again at 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Bend + Brew at Downtown Boxing Gym Aug. 27

Beer, yoga and music will collide for a cause when Detroit’s own Bend + Brew begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at Downtown Boxing Gym, 6445 E. Vernor Hwy, Detroit. All those 21 and over are welcome to practice yoga, co-led by Sam Arin from Center for Yoga and Dennis Blender. The hour long class is meant to relax your mind and strengthen your body while music by Cooper Anstett inspires all participating.
