Perrin Brewing of Comstock Park and Florida’s
Cigar City Brewing teamed up in June to craft a beer collaboration made for distribution in Michigan only.
John Stewart of Perrin and
Wayne Wambles of Cigar City put a unique spin on their brew
“White Noise”, Imperial White IPA. These 22oz bottles will be available at Perrin Brewing on
Saturday, July 23rd for $10.99.
After the recent addition of Cigar City Brewing to the Oskar Blues/Perrin/Klopcic team, Oskar Blues Holding Company decided to let the head brewers have some fun. The head brewers were thrilled to bring the two beer cultures and communities together for the first time. The breweries combination stems from the want to take risks and grow against the grain in the era of increasing competition within the craft beer industry; Perrin and Cigar City intend to do just that.
This monster Imperial White IPA is packed with lemondrop, denali and chinook hops paired with lemonpeel, juniper berries and lemon grass spices and fermented with a Belgian yeast. Wheat and oat malts creates a silky smooth body leading to a deceptively easy drinking Imperial beer that's sure to pull you into another dimension of IPAs. The end result for “White Noise” Imperial White IPA is 9.7% ABV and 89 IBU.
“White Noise”, Imperial White IPA will be available on draft Thursday, July 21st, 22oz bottles at Perrin Pub Saturday, July 23rd, and in Michigan markets on the following July 25th.
