Jolly Pumpkin Releases Sobrehumano Palena

Nearly 5 years since the last release, Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales is proud to announce the return of Sobrehumano Palena`ole. This collaboration with Maui Brewing Company was originally released in the summer of 2012 and since then it has been one of the brewery’s most asked about beers. You’ve asked and we finally listened, Sobrehumano Palena`ole will be released nationally beginning February 6.

Perrin Brewing of Comstock Park and Florida’s Cigar City Brewing teamed up in June to craft a beer collaboration made for distribution in Michigan only. John Stewart of Perrin and Wayne Wambles of Cigar City put a unique spin on their brew “White Noise”, Imperial White IPA. These 22oz bottles will be available at Perrin Brewing on Saturday, July 23rd for $10.99.

At the Craft Brewers Conference in Philadelphia this week, ten Certified B Corps (Benefit Corporations) will launch their collaborative beer. BREW the CHANGE was crafted together by the group at Beau’s All Natural Brewing last month. These breweries all believe that business can be a strong force for good in the world, and they’ve come together to celebrate this shared vision with a delicious beer made with B Corp certified ingredients. Certified by B Lab (the nonprofit behind B Corp), these for-profit companies meet higher standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

New Holland Brewing teamed up with local minor league soccer team, Grand Rapids Football Club (GRFC), to brew a limited-edition beer honoring the team, their fans and their upcoming 2016 season.

Short’s Brewing Company announces a collaboration brew with American funk group, Vulfpeck. The beer called “Compression” is an American Sour Ale inspired by the Vulf Compressor, a mixing tool used by the band to give their music its signature sound. Compression will be released at The Short’s Anni Party XII in 550mL bottles.
