Downtown Dexter, Michigan will soon be home to the first ‘Beer Grotto’ with another location  opening in Ann Arbor in September. Look for activity near Dairy Queen and Aubree’s Pizzeria and Tavern.
If you are wondering what a ‘Beer Grotto’ is, let me explain- from the website: “We are a retail  craft beer and boutique wine store and bar with a focus on Michigan products. With in-house  tasting, an educated staff, and a warm atmosphere, you’ll always leave smiling.”

According to The Beer Grotto President, Sam Short “The primary goal is to-go sales.” Its a place  that allows customers to taste ANYTHING in the store before they make the decision to purchase. The Beer Grotto’s Dexter location will also feature a lounge with a full-service bar for  those patrons who prefer to enjoy a cold pint, a nice glass of wine, or a craft cocktail in house  before getting a growler or howler filled “to-go”!

If you are new to beer and wine or you just enjoy experimenting with new things, The Beer Grotto gives you an excellent opportunity to TRY before you BUY! The Beer Grotto wants all customers to leave the store completely satisfied with their purchase and experience.

With 48 taps featuring the best craft beer, ciders and meads and 24 taps of wine set for the bar/retail store in Dexter, I am positive you will find something you love.
