For our first pairing of the year, we'll be offering a unique pairing event Beer and Breakfast. The event will be held on Monday, February 5th at REO Town Pub and this will feature beer from Frankenmuth Brewery out of Michigan's #1 tourist destination Frankenmuth, Michigan.

After a month off we're back with two beer and German food pairing events. The first pairing will be held on Monday, October 5th at REO Town Pub and all the German Food will be made by Good Truckin Diner. This event will feature 5 handcrafted beers from Atwater Brewery.

Old Detroit Amber Ale Finding Fans Old and New
It was a long time coming, but Frankenmuth Brewery finally brought a cherished classic from its historical line of beers back to bars and store shelves this past spring when it revived Old Detroit Amber Ale. “You can only answer so many inquiries with ‘Soon. Very soon’ before you decide the time is more than right,” said Maher Sarafa, Brand Marketing Director of Frankenmuth Brewery.

Beer & Brat Pairing at REO Town Pub & BAD Brewery
In July we're offering 2 beer and brat paring events. This is a fabulous event for foodies and non foodies alike. The subtle flavors of each craft beer brings out the different complex flavors in each brats from Monticello's Market. Monticello's Market and Butcher Block is a speciality market located in Haslet and they offer natural healthy foods from local farms that provide the freshest produce, quality full-service specialty meat and deli, tasty gourmet cheese, locally brewed beer, aged wine, and other tasty temptations.

Anticipation Grows for Frankenmuth Brewery’s 2014 Imperial Stout Release
Michigan craft beer lovers know quality beer and the anticipation over Frankenmuth Brewery’s annual release of its Imperial Stout is gaining steam. This is the fifth year Frankenmuth Brewery will be releasing a limited supply of its Imperial Stout and it’s quickly being recognized as “one” bottle you have to get your hands on for both the brew and commemorative bottle.

Frankenmuth Beer and Hills Cheese Pairing at REO Town Pub
Our next event at the REO Town Pub will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 24th. This month, we will be pairing beers from Frankenmuth Brewery and cheeses from Lansing City Market's own Hills Home-Cured Cheese. Frankenmuth's unique, German style beers pair great with all foods, but especially artisan cheeses, so we're excited to be doing this pairing. Hills Cheese is a family owned and operated business, and they are the premier cheese importer in the Lansing area.

Townsquare Media and Sam Adams Present Oktoberfest at the Intersection
97.9 GRD, Channel 95.7, Classic Hits 98.7 WFGR, 100.5 The River and 1410 The Touch are celebrating the great tradition of Oktoberfest and ArtPrize during the first annual Oktobeerfest on Saturday, September 21, at The Intersection. The event will feature a variety of seasonal Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Ale beers from microbreweries including Sam Adams, Perrin, Arcadia, Frankenmuth, Rochester Mills, New Belgium and Summit.
